We are conducting a review of IT infrastructure assets and how they are managed throughout the asset lifecycle. This review focuses on network equipment (servers, switches, access points, etc.) and excludes user endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, cellular devices, etc.).
Our organization is interested in learning more about how peer organizations manage their end-of-life IT assets, including how end of life is defined, what determines how long an IT asset is useful and when it should be disposed of. Does anyone have any policies and procedures they would be willing to share, or discuss with us via phone call or Teams?
