Within Internal Audit at the University of Calgary, I am leading a practice area for data analytics. I also perform audits and advisory engagements regarding IT operations, governance and projects.
Before joining Internal Audit, I spent over 20 years in operational and management roles in the IT industry. I managed global teams and programs covering information security, corporate data management, business process design, internal controls (Sarbanes-Oxley), fraud investigation, IT governance and service delivery in a global enterprise.
I hold a Graduate Engineer (Diplom-Ingenieur) degree in Computer Science, a Master of Business Administration as well as CISA and CFE certifications. I am a member of ACUA, ISACA, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
